Computer Geeks began 20 years ago as a local break-fix shop, repairing computers, removing computer viruses, and selling computers. It grew to become a regional managed IT service provider and off-site backup facility, offering technology installation, customer support, remote monitoring, and maintenance for thousands of computers each day. So it needed a new website to reflect its success.

I met with business owner Nick Calvert during a strategy session and listed the entrepreneur’s struggles and goals. My marketing agency in Springfield, Missouri, Henderson Media LLC, designed a custom marketing campaign including:
- A mobile-friendly website design with a content management system.
- Corporate photography of the office and some staff members.
- Video production of an interview with the business owner and a client testimonial.
- Content writing of nearly 3,000 words that were search-engine optimized to improve the company’s Google ranking.
- Strategic structuring of information to create a user-friendly experience.
- Goal-oriented web pages designed to direct traffic toward quote-request forms.
- A client-feedback campaign to gather customer sentiment for improved operations and increased online reviews. (Learn more about this reputation management service.)
- A client review page that is automatically populated with reviews from around the internet. Reviews are also displayed on the homepage, in a small popup.
- Social media management including frequent posts on multiple platforms.
These efforts took the pressure of keeping up with marketing needs off the shoulders of the business owner so he could focus on taking care of his customers and developing improved business systems.
